In 1998, Marcy and Bruce Balter bought twenty-six
acres of land on Under the Mountain Road, South Londonderry, Vermont.
By 1999, they had cleared seven acres and broken ground for an authentic-looking
whimsical potting shed/dog house. Today their property also includes
a barn guest house, a yoga/art studio and chicken coop.
